Installation attention of diesel generator set

1, the location of the installation should be well ventilated, the end of the generator should have enough air inlet, and the end of the diesel engine should have a good outlet. The air outlet area should be more than 1.5 times more than the water tank area.



2, the area around the installation should be kept clean to avoid placing objects in the vicinity of corrosive gas and steam that can produce acid and alkaline. Fire extinguishing equipment should be equipped with conditions.



3, if the indoor use, must be communicated to the outside diameter of the exhaust pipe, silencer must than the smoke pipe diameter, pipe elbows should not take more than 3, to ensure the smooth exhaust, and the pipe should be downward sloping 5--10 degrees, avoid rainwater injection; if the exhaust pipe is installed vertically, then must be providedforoutdoortype



4. When the foundation is concrete, the horizontal scale must be measured by the horizontal ruler in the installation, so that the unit is fixed on the basis of the level. Between the unit and the foundation shall have a special cushion or foot bolt.



5, the unit shell must have reliable protective earthing. For the generator that needs neutral point direct grounding, it must be grounded by professional personnel and equipped with lightning protection device. It is strictly prohibited to use the grounding device of power supply to directly connect neutral point.



6, the two-way switch between the generator and the city must be very reliable to prevent power supply. The connection reliability of the two-way switch needs to be approved by the local power supply department.



7. The wiring of the starting battery must be firm. It is believed that the service life of the diesel generator set will be greatly improved.
